Ayyyyyyyy!!! Estoy realmente obsesionada por Malpaís! Ellos tocan tan pero tan bien y sus voces vienen directamente del cielo — cuando finalmente esté en CR, espero poder verlos tocar algún día!

Para los que no conocen a Malpaís, ellos son un grupo tico (costarricense) y tocan una m&uacutesica típica de Costa Rica fusionada con nuevos ritmos latinos. Es muy divertida e interesante y casi les puedo prometer que les gustarí. Si quieren escuchar unos ejemplos de su m&uacutesica, aquí está su sitio no-oficial en MySpace. Desafortunadamente, es bien difícil conseguir un disco suyo aquí en los putos EEUU.

Aaaah! I am really obsessed with Malpaís! They play sooo well and their voices come directly to us from heaven… when I’m finally in CR, I hope that I’ll get to see them play someday!

For those that are not familiar with Malpaís, they are a tico (Costa Rican) group and they play typical/traditional Costa Rican music fused with new Latin rhythms. It’s very fun and interesting and I can almost promise you that you will like it. If you’d like to hear a few examples of their music, here is their unofficial site on MySpace. Unfortunately, it’s pretty difficult to get one of their CDs here in the damn US.
