Life is So Good
I’m sitting here, in bed, working (I love the Internet). I’m making plans for the weekend with my friends, whom I love dearly. I’m listening to the sounds of the city, which I love more than I could have thought possible. It’s an equisite 82 degrees (28 degrees C) outside, not a cloud in the sky, and the air smells of sweet baking bread from the corner bakery. I’m looking out my window at the massive mango tree that has teeny tiny mangoes the size of blueberries on it… mangoes that will grow to become large fruit that I will feast on next month. Birds are chirping, singing songs that make my heart happy.
Tomorrow is Friday, the beginning of the weekend. Lisa’s boyfriend is coming to Costa Rica today, and I’ll get to meet him. I’ve heard a lot about you, Jesse. And I’m going to a friend’s housewarming party on Saturday. His first time living on his own, and he’s only a few minutes from me. I wonder what I should get him… suggestions?? And Josue. Mi bombon de azucar… it’s been way too long since I’ve seen Josue. One week, maybe two. Josue is coming to town on Sunday. We’re going roller skating.
You know, I’d even venture to say that life couldn’t be better…

that’s awesome
